From: "Mary Stinnett" Date: Tuesday, June 29, 2004 10:14 PM Dive Team Families, Congratulations on tonight's win over Ilda! The final score was 47 to 21. It's great having divers in every category to score points. And let's hope that all our Tuesday evenings have such great weather. I want to congratulate all the divers on great performances. Special congratulations go to all of our divers who were participating in their first meet for Fairfax: Celia Delahunty, Ethan Delahunty, Chris Algie, and Molly Hope. Tomorrow will be fun day at dive practice. We'll be watching a video of my all-time favorite diver, Greg Louganis. Then we'll have games in the diving well and hand out the ribbons. Next week's meet will be a tri-meet with Stratford and Rutherford at home. This is an interdivisional meet that will not count toward our divisional standing. Since there will be 3 teams competing, each team will be limited to 21 divers. If you know that your diver will be away, please let Kenny or Brandon know so that they'll have less trouble determining the participants. (For tonight's meet we had 21 divers, but there are about 30 divers on the team.) I will send out the results to everyone when they are typed up by the Ilda rep. You will also be able to see the results on the web-site ( http://www.nvsldive.nvpools.com ), probably by tomorrow evening. You'll be able to check out next week's competitors scores, too. Way to go frogs! Mary S.
